Our History
Symphony Homes is a family owned and managed business. Tom and Dawn Harper both worked for national homebuilders for many years prior to starting their own custom home building operation in Central Texas. Their partnership blends Tom’s experience in the design, construction and management side of the business with Dawn’s experiences in interior design and with other facets of the new home industry. They have resided in Central Texas since 1998 after having lived the previous 20 years in the Dallas, Texas area.
Your initial contact will be with Tom who will work with you through the contract and architectural design process. Dawn will then walk you through the interior design and colorization (selections) process. Each will visit your new home frequently while it is under construction to insure that it is being built according to your specifications and that their quality standards are being met.
Along with Tom and Dawn, you will have an outstanding team of experienced professionals at Symphony Homes working together to ensure that your house will become the home you have dreamed about. You will become acquainted with Sarah Swears who is Operations Manager and David Roebuck the Construction Manager. Equally important are the suppliers and sub-contractors who form an important part of our team who have contributed greatly to the quality performance and success of Symphony Homes.
